By Air – Approximately one hour flight from Gatwick to Newquay, then 45 minutes drive to Portloe, Car Rental is available at the airport.

By Train - Approximately four hours from London Paddington to Truro, with a 30 minute drive to Portloe. Taxi’s run from the station as does a bus service, see Truroian timetable.

By Car – M5 or A303 to Exeter, A30 to Bodmin dual carriage way. Stay on the A30 to western side of Highgate Hill and take left turn signed Fraddon. At T junction turn right to next cross roads. Cross main road to Grampound road village through the village and on to the crossroads at the A390. Cross the A390, follow road to next crossroads turn left to Tregony the gateway to the Roseland Peninsula. Follow signs to St Mawes, turn left at Jet Garage, follow signs to Portloe. For Fuglers Cottage and Portloe village, go through the hamlet of Treviskey and down the narrow road to Portloe, past the lock up garages and car park on right. Fuglers is the 4th cottage on the right, opposite a passing place on corner overlooking the sea.

Directions to The Barn (Innis Carne)

For Innis Carne, do not turn left to Portloe by derelict rusty garages, take Veryan signs for half mile and take the first left and on to the crossroads turn left sign to Portloe/Camels continue on this road down steep hill, 50 yds past passing place on right is Innis Carne, just short of village.
