We have a car park which is about 100 yds from Fuglers Cottage, which is ideal if you have extra cars to park. We have a lovely fishing harbour that still has fishing boats working from it. The local catch is crab and lobster if requested and the harbour is safe for swimming.

Within walking distance is the village, the Ship Inn pub, harbour and hotel all approx 5 mins walk away.

The Lugger Hotel is situated right at the harbour side, they have a lovely terrace to take morning coffee or afternoon tea and they welcome non residents for lunches or evening meals. We have a local pub, the Ship Inn that does good pub food and hopefully this year the village shop will reopen. There is a lovely little United Church right in the centre of the village and always welcomes visors to its services.

The stunning sandy beaches of Carne and Pendower are only 1.5 miles away. If you like walking, there is the South Coast footpath along which you will see all kinds of wildlife and if you are lucky in the summer maybe a basking shark or two.

Veryan is a pretty village about 1.5 miles to the West with its famous round houses, lovely church, shop, post office, small park and friendly market.

The Nare Hotel is only 1.5 miles away at Carne beach and is a superb place to go for a treat.

St Mawes is 9 miles away, this is at the end of the Roseland Peninsula and Falmouth and Carrick Roads, there is a regular passenger ferry service from St Mawes to Falmouth and back.

St Mawes is a picturesque harbour perfect for yachting and boating etc, it has restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes as well as a good selection of shops.

St Just in Roseland Church and sub tropical gardens are also worth a visit and are only two miles from St Mawes.

Trelissik Gardens are also within easy reach with a trip on the King Harry car ferry to make it an extra special visit.

The city of Truro is only 13 miles away and makes a nice day out, with its shops, restaurants, bars and museums.

The Eden Project is only 15 miles away and is well worth a day trip. The lost gardens of Heligan are about eight miles away close to Mevagissy another fishing harbour with shops, bars, cafes etc.
