Fuglers is a large cottage built in 1850 overlooking the sea. There are stunning views across the bay from all the front windows and partial sea views from the self contained studio, which is part of the ground floor.

Outside at the front there is parking for one car on a paved area, which also has a small sitting area. At the rear is a small secure yard to the back door, this is ideal for keeping bikes and fishing rods etc. Also at the rear up some steps is a decked area with a picnic table and spectacular views out to the sea. We call this the birds nest.

Ground Floor

We have a front porch, which is an ideal place to sit and watch the world go by, this leads into the large lounge/dining room.

The lounge has a multi fuel burner, lovely and cosy on those cooler days, 3 piece leather suite, coffee table, free sat TV, DVD, video and stereo.

At the dinning end there is a six foot long oak refectory table and six chairs, two small dressers, and two night storage heaters. The door leading up to the stairs has shelves holding an extensive library of books and maps, also there are a number of DVD’s. Under the stairs there is a cupboard which houses the hoover and a selection of toys and games.

The kitchen has a number of cupboards, Oil fired Rayburn which is always on and warm. Separate electric hob and combi oven, fridge, dishwasher and ceramic sink. The kitchen leads to the conservatory style breakfast room with a breakfast bar, small electric fire hooks for coats etc. The door leads to a small covered area with an outside sink, freezer and washing machine.

The door to the ground floor studio has a bathroom with bath, WC, wash hand basin, airing cupboard and heated towel rail.

There is a twin bedded area with wardrobe, small kitchen with fridge, microwave oven, sink and cupboards. With a two seater sofa, butterfly table and chairs, night storage heater and a partial sea view.

1st Floor

Bedroom One - En-suite, double bedroom. This room has a lovely sea view, night store heater, hanging space and dressing table/chest of drawers. The en-suite has a large shower cubicle, wash hand basin, shaver point, WC heated towel rail and countryside/village views.

Bedroom Two - This is a lovely large room, with three windows all beautiful sea views. Twim beds with truckle beds under, ideal for family or children’s room. Large wardrobe area, dressing table, book shelves and night store heater.

Family Bathroom – Another lovely room with bath, large shower cubicle, bidet, WC, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, airing cupboard and more storage space.

There is a telephone at Fuglers which accepts incoming calls and local outgoing calls only.
